Description
Are you passionate about the legal field and ready to make a difference? Join our dynamic team as a Paralegal and play a key role supporting the team. As a Paralegal, you will undertake a variety of data gathering and information recording activities on behalf of a File Handler to facilitate the rapid settlement of cases and the closure of files.

Key Accountabilities
* Acknowledge instructions, liaise with clients and other parties
* Draft appropriate documentation
* Serve documentation upon third parties where applicable
* Liaise with the insurer regarding liability and chase to expedite settlement or repudiation
* Obtain additional information or documentation from insurers and third parties to support negotiations
* Follow up on outstanding instructions to ensure timely responses
* Provide general assistance and support to the File Handler as needed
* Input case management information accurately and promptly into the system
* Ensure compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations

Working Hours
35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. This role is hybrid, working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
* Ability to work effectively to deadlines
* Experience dealing with calls and enquiries from customers, suppliers, and the public
* Proficient in IT, especially MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Experience with Claims/Case Management systems
* Proficient in alpha-numerical filing systems
* GCSE grade A-C in Maths and English
