UAL is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join its Communications Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape UAL’s social media presence and help build a dynamic, creative and inclusive online community.
The Social Media Manager is responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive and strategically aligned, audience first content across the University’s social media channels. You will help ensure we reach our audiences with impact and coherence, strengthen our brand and reputation, and support UAL’s ambition to be a global leader in creative education.
In this role, you will lead, support and develop a team of five social media professionals, oversee content planning and publishing, and ensure consistent messaging across platforms. Working closely with the Head of Social Media and Digital Communications, and colleagues across Communications, Content, Marketing, PR and Media Relations, and our six Colleges and Institutes, you will help create brilliant content that engages our audiences and tells the story of UAL.
About you
The successful candidate will bring substantial experience of managing a social media team within a large or complex organisation, strong knowledge of major platforms, and excellent communication skills.
