An exciting opportunity has arisen for a therapy assistant practitioner (TAP) to join the Hospital at Home Team in NHS Forth Valley. This multidisciplinary team provides short‑term targeted interventions across the Forth Valley for acutely unwell frail adults living in the community.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to allied health professionals, mainly physiotherapists and occupational therapists, under their guidance.
* Prioritise fluctuating workloads and operate effectively in a busy, challenging community environment.
* Travel throughout the service area in a timely manner, with majority of work in patients’ homes or homely environments.
* Complete a full induction and orientation programme, and receive ongoing support to facilitate professional development.
* Work over seven days per week as required.
* Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Further details at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk.
