Skilled Pipelayer – Shallow Drainage Join Coinford – Building from the Ground Up Coinford are specialists in groundworks and concrete frame construction, delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Pipelayer to support shallow drainage works on long-term projects across our sites. Role Requirements (Essential): Proven experience carrying out shallow drainage and pipelaying works Competent in installing foul, surface water, and minor drainage systems Ability to work accurately from drawings, levels, and site documentation Good understanding of pipe bedding, line and level, backfilling, and compaction Experience installing pipes, manholes, gullies, and connections to specification High attention to detail to ensure installations meet quality and safety standards Ability to carry out daily plant and equipment checks and report defects Strong awareness of health & safety requirements when working in and around excavations Desirable: CPCS/NPORS tickets (Dumper and/or Roller advantageous) Confined Spaces training (beneficial but not essential) 3 years’ experience in shallow drainage or general groundworks Experience working as part of an established drainage gang or groundworks team General Expectations: Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude at all times Able to work collaboratively with supervisors, machine operators, and other trades Committed to delivering work safely, efficiently, and to programme Right to work in the UK What We Offer: Fair and competitive rates Long-term and ongoing opportunities Access to further training and upskilling where required We operate to high standards across all our sites and are looking for skilled pipelayers who take pride in delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality shallow drainage installations. * Please note that to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards affiliated with CSCS and carrying the CSCS hologram.
