We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. Duties
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
* Process invoices, payments, and expense claims in a timely manner.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
* Respond to internal and external financial inquiries as required.
* Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Skills
* Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is advantageous.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration within teams.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A basic understanding of financial principles and practices is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
