This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a respected, sustainability-minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for lending their skills and expertise to a variety of projects across the transport planning, infrastructure, and water sectors. They are currently seeking a skilled, committed SuDS Designer, who is willing to take on a number of challenging projects across the region. You will be based near the modern, convenient town of Stevenage.

Responsibilities for the role of SuDS Designer include:
Producing detailed Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs for a variety of projects, primarily residential developments
Contributing to planning applications and construction phases
Developing a range of sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions across the local region
Collaborating with a team of experts in the field, contributing to a range of exciting projects
Required skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Civil Engineering, etc.)
Extensive experience of SuDS and wider Civil Engineering design, particularly for residential projects and new developments
Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, etc.
Substantial experience of producing detailed designs in support of planning applications and at varying stages of construction
Competent understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, etc.)
Good working knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, etc.
Desirable skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include:
A Master's Degree (or higher qualification) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, etc.
Possess Chartered Status with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, etc.), or actively working to attain this
Possess a full, valid UK Driving Licence
