Project Manager
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of a varied portfolio of projects, ensuring contractual, commercial and regulatory requirements are met. This role will primarily work under the NEC3 contract, acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders and supporting safe, efficient and high‑quality project delivery.
Responsibilities
* Lead assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring time, cost, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
* Implement and manage Project Charters to meet customer, company, contractual and legislative requirements.
* Define project scope, standards, performance measures and success criteria.
* Produce and manage project programmes, budgets, cost forecasts and reports.
* Plan and sequence activities, including quality, risk and time planning (using tools such as MS Project).
* Communicate effectively with clients, delivery partners and internal teams to resource, plan and meet commitments.
* Manage project milestones and associated payment criteria, ensuring appropriate documentation is in place.
* Promote continuous improvement by identifying and removing non‑value‑adding activities.
* Ensure full compliance with Business Assurance standards, reporting and record‑keeping requirements.
* Attend customer sites as required and represent the company’s culture and values.
Qualifications
* Experience in Project Management or Project Engineering (typically 2+ years).
* Engineering background with electrical and/or mechanical knowledge.
* Commercial awareness in a project delivery environment.
* Experience working with the NEC3 suite of contracts (or similar).
* Knowledge of the UK municipal water sector is desirable.
* Project management training or qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, APM) are an advantage.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
