Base pay range
Job Title: School Minibus Driver
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 20 hours per week - 7.00am to 9.00am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £13.95 per hour
Temporary for 6 - 8 weeks
Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and reliable School Minibus Driver to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role involves safely transporting students to and from school. You will start and finish in Glasgow, picking up students from East Kilbride and Kilmarnock.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate the school minibus on scheduled routes
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers
* Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
* Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
* Adhere to all traffic laws and school policies
* Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
Requirements
* Valid Cat D1 (no restrictions) or Cat D driver's licence with a clean driving record
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules
* A friendly and patient demeanour
* Must be eligible for a PVG Disclosure for Children, which will be applied for by our client
