Job Description:
Your new company
Hays Education is always looking for Teaching Assistants to fill daily cover, short and long-term roles. Now, as we head into the final stretch of the summer term, we are looking towards September and are looking for individuals to cover these roles starting in the new academic year.
Here at Hays, we work with multiple schools across Blackpool, which means as a Teaching Assistant working through Hays, you will have local work in your area covering schools that you choose to work in.
Your new role
We are currently recruiting for full and part-time Teaching Assistants to join from September on a supply basis. We seek exceptional people to work with pupils with a range of additional needs. You should thrive in challenging but rewarding environments, be passionate about supporting social, life, and independence skills, and aim to make a difference in young people's lives. You will work under the instruction of the class teacher to promote a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment, ensuring materials are accessible for all.
Working on a supply basis offers flexibility, a better work/life balance, and experience in various schools.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have recent experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. Availability to start immediately and full commitment to the role are essential. SEN experience is desirable but not required, depending on the placement school.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid a competitive daily rate and become part of a successful team of Teaching Assistants. This role offers opportunities to develop your skills further. A dedicated consultant will be available to support you with any questions or concerns.
