Summary
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Quality Auditor to support the Quality Manager in maintaining and enhancing the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS). The successful candidate will also assist the Safety Management System (SMS) Manager in managing risk assessments and implementing safety improvement projects. This role involves maintaining Company Approvals, conducting audits to regulatory standards, and hosting regulatory bodies such as the CAA, MAA, BSi, and customer auditors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation quality systems, particularly within EASA Part 145 and Part M environments, and experience with design and production organisation procedures under EASA Part 21 J and Part 21 G respectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the Company QMS and SMS.
* Manage and coordinate risk assessments and safety improvement initiatives.
* Conduct internal and external audits in compliance with aviation regulations and company standards.
* Maintain and manage Company Approvals and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Host and liaise with regulatory authorities and customer auditors during inspections and audits.
* Support the development and implementation of quality and safety procedures aligned with industry standards.
Skills
* Experience with Quality Management Systems in EASA Part 145 and Part M environments.
* Knowledge of Design Organisation procedures, preferably EASA Part 21 J.
* Knowledge of Production Organisation procedures, preferably EASA Part 21 G.
* Proficient in BSI QMS standards including ISO 9001, EN 9100, EN 9110, EN 9120.
* Experience with BSI Environmental Management ISO 14001.
* Experience with BSI Health and Safety ISO 18001.
* Strong auditing skills to regulatory and customer standards.
* Risk assessment and safety management expertise.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to host and manage regulatory and customer audits effectively.
Software/Tools
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace applications
Certifications & Standards
* Familiarity with EASA regulations (Part 145, Part M, Part 21 J, Part 21 G).
* Knowledge and application of ISO 9001, EN 9100 series, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 standards.
* Experience with BSI approvals and audit processes.
