About the Opportunity
A leading UK-based financial services business is hiring into its growing Products team. This is an exciting time to join a company undergoing reinvestment and transformation-driven by innovation, Consumer Duty standards, and a commitment to performance excellence.
We're looking for qualified and/or nearly qualified actuaries who are collaborative, curious, and confident communicators. Whether you're stepping into your first management role or growing your managerial expertise, this is a great platform to broaden your impact in a high-visibility, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead or support product governance and product development initiatives across lines of business.
* Tweak, refine, and maintain existing products to ensure they meet client needs and regulatory expectations (e.g., Consumer Duty).
* Collaborate with wider teams, many of whom are not technical product experts - requiring clear communication of charges, illustrations, and structures.
* Manage multiple projects across the year; balance technical analysis with stakeholder engagement.
* Work closely with junior actuaries and graduates, supporting their development through coaching and line management (for managers).
Ideal Candidate
* Qualified or nearly-qualified actuary (nearing qualification).
* Open to broad background in product development, pricing, or technical actuarial roles.
* Strong communication skills - able to explain complex ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
* Personable, outgoing, and collaborative - thrives in a people-first culture.
* Willing to work on-site 3 days/week to engage with the team and business.
Why Apply?
* Join a high-performing, fast-paced team of 30+ actuaries and product specialists.
* Be part of a visible team with regular exposure to senior leadership.
* Opportunity to work on diverse projects spanning technical work, coaching, and strategic product evolution.
* Real opportunity for career progression - with visibility to board-level stakeholders and room to move into broader leadership roles.
