Job Advert Role Description
Priory Hospital Hazelwood House, in Heath, Derbyshire, is a low secure unit for males with a primary diagnosis of a learning disability, who have additional complex care needs. These may include autism and mental health needs.
Housekeeper
This role offers plenty of variety and everyday will be different but duties will include:
1. Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
2. Ensure that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all hospital areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
3. Identifying and reporting damages, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet our high quality standards and statutory regulations.
4. Use equipment efficiently.
5. Ensuring the confidentiality and identity of patients residing at the hospital.
Knowledge & Skills
The role holder will have a good standard of English along with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Experience
No experience required as basic training will be provided.
Autonomy & Impact
The role holder undertakes routine and regular tasks, but can alter the sequence of tasks on a daily basis.
Intelligent Problem Solving
The role is routine driven, and as such problem solving will be derived from a range of pre-defined solutions.
