About the Role
An Outstanding mixed school in Enfield is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join their English department from September. You will inspire students to develop a love for literature and language across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
* Develop students' analytical and creative writing skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources.
* Organise and lead English-related extracurricular activities, such as book clubs and debating societies.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
* Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level, including A-Level.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
