The Job You’ll be Doing;
* Prepare financial statements (Balance sheet and profit loss) ensuring these meets and comply with accounting standards ready for audit.
* Provide internal financial analysis for decision making focusing on KPIs, cost control and profitability improvements.
* Management/ processing and reconciliation of salaries, wages, pension and deductions.
* Handling accounting of companies’ assets, additions, disposals and depreciation policies.
* Handling of Tax such as submissions of VAT, PAYE and P11d.
* Management of Assistant Accountant and Procurement administration.
* Bank reconciliation.
* Processing of National Statistics requirements.
* Contract management and negotiations of Utilities, Insurance etc.
* Highlighting and processing of potential funding opportunities.
* Highlighting and processing of potential R&D opportunities.
About You;
* Strong accounting knowledge.
* ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.
* Experience working within manufacturing is essential.
* Attention to detail.
* Strong knowledge of accounting packages.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel.
* Right to work in the UK.
