Location: Cardiff (Hybrid & Flexible)

Salary: £50,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)
Overview
A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Agriculture & Estates team in Cardiff. This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow transactional work within a nationally recognised practice, supported by a collaborative team across contentious and non-contentious matters.
Responsibilities
* Advise on sales, purchases and mortgages of agricultural land and property.
* Advising on estate management and agricultural tenancies.
* Handle tax and succession planning matters.
* Manage conservation and natural capital projects.
* Prepare biodiversity net gain agreements.
* Develop and maintain specialist knowledge.
* Collaborate across the wider team.
* Engage in business development and referral opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
* 4‑8 years PQE.
* Experience in agricultural law or broader property work.
* Strong technical and drafting skills.
* Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively.
* Commercial acumen and attention to detail.
* Ambition, organisation and a proactive mindset.
