Location: Padiham, East Lancashire Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour Contract Type: Full-time (temporary with the view to go permanent) Start Date: October 2025 Key Responsibilities: - Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities. - Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all pupils. - Assist in the personal, social, and emotional development of children aged 3–5. - Observe, record, and support the development of pupils in line with EYFS framework. - Contribute to planning and assessing, providing valuable input for each child’s learning journey. - Support children with additional needs as required. We’re Looking For Someone Who: - Has experience working with children in an EYFS setting. - Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant Certificate). - Has a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development. - Is proactive, patient, and nurturing with excellent communication skills. - Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
