Your new role
Key Responsibilities
1. Conducting site visits and surveys to assess the condition of buildings and identify necessary adaptations, repairs, and maintenance.
2. Providing technical advice and guidance on building adaptations, repairs, and maintenance to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
3. Preparing detailed reports and specifications for building works.
4. Liaising with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that works are completed to a high standard and within budget.
5. Ensuring that all works comply with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
6. Advise clients, Occupational Therapists and colleagues on schemes and their feasibility.
7. Assist the Caseworker and Grants officer with the preparation of documents for grant applications
8. Manage and monitor projects to ensure successful completion and delivery on schedule
What you'll need to succeed
A degree in Building Surveying or a related field is desirable.
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of building regulations and legislation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence.
