English teacher
Location: East Grinsted
Contract: Temporary (with potential for long-term opportunities)
Start date: Flexible
Pay: £130 to £200 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications)
Academics are currently seeking a knowledgeable English Teacher to join a supportive and highly successful secondary school in East Grinsted. If you have a love for teaching English and have the ability to engage students in English lessons, we would love to hear from you!
Role Overview
* Deliver high-quality English lessons up to Key Stage 5
* Plan and create engaging, curriculum led lessons
* Encourage an interest of English language and literature
* Monitor student progress and support academic development
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
* Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom control
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing
