Fox Construction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our highly successful Client’s specialist joinery company, based in Northampton. The Company specialises in the installation of fire doors and associated on site joinery works. Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills appropriate to the role. Both verbal and written. Be able to work as part of team, as well as having the initiative and confidence to be proactive in dealing with an opportunity or potential crisis without the need to be told what to do. A level of IT skills appropriate to the role. Must be proficient and comfortable using standard Microsoft applications. Higher levels of knowledge of Excel, Outlook essential. Driving licence Qualifications relevant to the role Must have experience working in the industry. Either working directly for a Main Contractor or a company subcontracting to the Main contractor. Construction knowledge, preferably Joinery Organised, committed and flexible to differing contractor requirements. Contacts within the industry that will generate work opportunities.
