We are looking to appoint a committed and passionate Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Reading. This is a full-time role beginning in September, teaching Science across KS3 and KS4. There may be opportunities to teach your specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at KS5 depending on experience and departmental needs.
The successful candidate will work within a dedicated and well-resourced science faculty with a strong track record of academic success and enrichment. The school encourages inquiry-based learning and fosters a genuine interest in scientific discovery. Students benefit from access to well-equipped laboratories, experienced technicians, and a rich extracurricular programme including STEM clubs and national competitions.
Experience and Qualifications
• Science Teacher with QTS
• Strong subject knowledge in at least two sciences
• Experience teaching across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
• UK teaching eligibility required
