Should you be successful you will become part of a family run business with family values at the core of our business.Role DescriptionDue to continued growth here at Farrall’s Group, we are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Pallet Network Transport Planner to join our team of planners based in Telford, reporting directly to the PalletForce Manager.The Pallet Network Transport Planner will be responsible for organising the movement of consignments, ensuring timed deliveries throughout our postcode area are met thus providing an excellent service to our customers. Shift pattern would be early shifts 06:00-15:00 and late shifts 10:00-19:00Forklift licence and warehouse experience would be an advantageKey responsibilities will include:Monitor all delivery runs, ensure that drivers are making deliveries on time and communicate with customers regarding any delaysManaging and updating transport schedules and diaryLiaise with the wider team at the depot to ensure that operational requirements are metEnsuring compliance of Standard Operational Procedures (SOP’s) and ensuring the department continuously achieves a high level of customer focus & serviceAnswering questions from customersEnsure that drivers abide with all regulations, i.e. tachographs, defects, etc.Liaison with workshop to support maintenance scheduleTo cover for other areas as requiredTo follow all Health and Safety requirements and to adhere to all Company’s procedures and policiesTo enter data from customers onto IT systemsTo work flexible hours to suit the demands and needs of the business and cover for holidays / sickness.Booking in deliveries and collectionsEnsuring that all drivers have all the necessary paperwork and information to carry out their dutiesKeep up to date with legislationAt Farrall’s we offer a competitive package of up to £ 30,235.69 per annum.In return we offer - Great team ethic - Competitive Basic Salary – Full Uniform - Pension - Career progression - Paid holiday entitlement - Wellbeing Programme Perk Pal, Employee Assistance Line And more!!!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £30,235.69 per yearBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionHealth & wellbeing programmeStore discount
