The Best Connection are proudly recruiting for a Permanent Team Leader for our well-established client based in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity to take charge of day-to-day warehouse activities, lead a team, and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
Location: Crawley
Industry: Logistics
Hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Pay: £16.35 an hour, equivalent to £34k annually.
Responsibilities of the Team Leader:
* Managing the team to ensure accurate processes are followed.
* Monitor team performance, provide training and support development.
* Handle daily operations issues smoothly.
* Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock control.
* Report operational issues to management and suggest improvements.
Requirements of the Team Leader:
* 2 years previous experience as a team leader is an advantage.
* Warehousing experience is preferred.
* Excellent problem solving and logical reasoning skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Basic IT skills for inventory and reporting purposes.
