Experienced Senior Architectural Technologist required to join a successful Construction and development company in Garforth, Leeds.
Our client is one of the UK's leading developers and constructors of purpose-built residential care homes, with over 30 years of experience. They are on track to design and build 30 care homes per year.
About the Role:
Due to growth, they seek an enthusiastic Senior Architectural Technologist to join their Technical design team. The role involves technical design and detailing of care home projects, working closely with project stakeholders to ensure practical, compliant, and well-implemented designs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce detailed architectural designs and drawings using CAD software.
* Collaborate with in-house disciplines, site teams, and external consultants.
* Ensure designs meet regulations, standards, and sustainability requirements.
* Coordinate with site teams, engineers, and stakeholders.
* Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
* Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
* Prepare and submit planning and building control applications.
* Liaise with authorities and regulatory bodies.
* Prepare specifications and schedules.
* Maintain project documentation.
* Conduct site visits and inspections.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent in architectural or building technology.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Strong understanding of construction materials and methods.
* Knowledge of UK building regulations.
* Ability to manage multiple projects.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Teamwork and independent working skills.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Proven project delivery track record.
