Job Title: Skills Practitioner – Painting & Decorating
Job Type: Support, Employment Basis: Established (salaried)
Location: East Surrey College - Redhill
Salary: £27,466 (annual)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)

Responsibilities
* Support students in learning practical skills by assisting in workshop or classroom activities.
* Produce learning materials, teaching aids and assist in the preparation of learning areas for practical work.
* Assist the course leader in the supervision of students, student assessments and maintain student records.
* Maintain a stock of consumables in accordance with departmental needs, record resources and equipment, transport equipment and materials when necessary.
Qualifications
* Pinting and Decorating based qualification (ideally at Level 2 or above).
* Positive, self‑motivated attitude and ability to work well within a team.
* Experience working with young people.
* A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

Employment Details
