The role In the Landscape Planning sector, every day will be different. You’ll assist with the delivery of quality reporting and have plenty of contact with our clients. You will be responsible for shaping development proposals, with landscape planning at the forefront of our client’s plans. From project inception and bidding stages, right through to preparing documents to accompany planning applications. This will include: initial feasibility/opportunities and constraints analysis; LVA; LVIA’s; EIA’s and strategic landscape proposals. You will juggle a combination of urban and rural projects and work alongside our in-house ecology, GBI and arboriculture teams to broaden your knowledge and build relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will also be given training and mentorship opportunities to take your career forward.
What we're looking for
* Academic qualifications in a relevant subject
* Minimum of four years’ experience and either CMLI or registered on the Pathway to Chartership would be desirable
* Excellent verbal communication, project management and written skills
* Proficient in carrying out LVIAs and LVAs, including input into landscape design / mitigation strategies
* Experience in EIA
* A good understanding of legislative and planning policy framework
* Experience in providing due diligence advice to clients in respect to landscape character and visual matters
* Experience liaising with clients, statutory bodies and LPAs
* Full UK driving licence to enable site work
* The icing on the cake for us would be:
* Desire to mentor team members
* Track record of business development and winning own work
* Involvement or assistance with Public Inquiry work would be an advantage

Salary: £39,390 - £46,590 (plus Higher Cost of Living Allowance for London, £3,000 annually)
