The Opportunity
Are you meticulous, energetic and passionate about customer service and enquiry management? Join our Concrete Products division at Holcim in Brentford as an Enquiry Management Coordinator, where you will be central to how we manage customer enquiries, ensure excellent service, and support the operations and sales teams to deliver outstanding results.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring smooth and efficient handling from initial contact through to resolution. You'll support internal stakeholders, maintain high data integrity, drive continuous improvement in processes, and help ensure the business responds promptly to market, product and customer need.
This role is offered on a fixed-term contract as maternity cover. It's a great opportunity to join a high-performing team and make a meaningful contribution within a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
What you'll be doing
* Act as the primary point of contact for all customer enquiries (phone, email, web), logging and tracking them using our CRM / enquiry systems.
* Ensure timely responses to enquiries, escalating where necessary and coordinating with Sales, Operations and Dispatch to resolve.
* Maintain accurate data and records of enquiries, follow‑ups, outcomes, including root cause analysis where patterns emerge.
* Work closely with Sales & Business Development, Pricing, Logistics to ensure clarity of product info, availability and delivery lead times.
* Support in generating standard reports on enquiry volumes, response times, resolution rates and customer satisfaction to inform continuous improvement.
* Contribute to process improvements, ensuring enquiry workflows are efficient and customer‑centric.
* Assist with preparing documentation, quotations and coordinating with credit checks or other internal checks as needed.
Who you are
* You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to clearly understand and respond to customer needs.
* You are organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously without compromising accuracy.
* You thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment and are able to prioritize tasks effectively.
* You have strong problem‑solving skills, able to investigate issues and follow through to resolution.
* You are comfortable working with data, using systems / CRM tools, tracking metrics and suggesting improvements.
* Previous experience in customer service, order / enquiry management or operations (ideally within building materials / construction / supply chain) would be highly beneficial.
