Technical Software Specialist (6 Months), Dudley
Support the Global Finance Teams with the Finance Software. Responsible for installations, upgrades, and supporting the implementation of our Bill to Cash Software. Support the enforcement of standardised processes across Finance teams and support the implementation of continuous improvements to the Bill to Cash Processes.
Responsibilities
* Installation and technical maintenance of the Bill to Cash Software (primarily Credit Control and Cash Allocation)
* Schedule and perform regular upgrades of the Bill to Cash Software
* Support the Bill to Cash Process by deploying, implementing, and migrating Bill to Cash Software globally following the standardised strategy
* Support other Financial Software used within the global Finance Teams (e.g., Dynamics NAV, Business Central, Alloc8, C-Series)
* Provide technical and functional training to end users and Application Support Teams
* Document technical process flows
* Deploy recommendations and improvements to achieve business and process improvements
* Provide ongoing support on incidents
* Support local teams with process and system changes
* Ensure system compatibility and data integrity
* Participate in Major Incident Review and Problem Management meetings
* Share best practices across regions
* Install, maintain, support, and upgrade the Bill to Cash Software
* Keep technical documentation up to date
* Support migrations to new platforms and implement new solutions
* Collaborate with business teams to review and improve technical processes
* Coordinate with system owners to ensure seamless data flows
* Participate in projects supporting the Finance Strategy
* Document lessons learned from implementations and migrations
* Set up SQL reporting jobs
Requirements
* Technical knowledge of operating systems, Windows Server, IIS, and tools like PowerShell
* Knowledge of Credit Management and Cash Allocation Software (preferably OnGuard)
* Knowledge of Active Directory and Citrix
* Willingness to travel internationally
* Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
* Team support and development skills
* High integrity and empathy
* Proactive with current technical trends
* Ability to work under pressure and manage diverse workloads
* Experience in project delivery within complex organizations
* Understanding of data protection issues
* Knowledge of Finance processes, especially Credit Management and Cash Allocation
* Experience with Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central
* SQL database and reporting knowledge
* Experience in multi-priority organizations and finance project management
