We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Deputy Divisional Administrator to join the Human Resources Division. This new full-time role will join our friendly and supportive Divisional Administration team, which provides essential support to colleagues across the HR Division. The team's responsibilities span a range of functions including HR and Finance administration, Health and Safety, and IT support. About The Role The Deputy Divisional Administrator will support the Divisional Administrator in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the HR Division. This is a varied and rewarding role and will play a key role in maintaining high standards of service delivery, supporting colleagues across the Division, and helping to drive continuous improvement in administrative processes. What You'll Be Doing Coordinating HR administration, including Grading and Recruitment, and providing advice on recruitment policies, compliance, and best practices Manage health and safety in the office, carrying out inductions, checks and maintaining accurate health and safety records Preparing and reviewing finance reports, approving expenses and invoices Managing administration projects and supporting the Divisional Administrator with the implementation of new systems and policies Deputising for the Divisional Administrator, as required We're Looking For Someone Who Has Degree level/Level 6 vocational qualifications or equivalent level of relevant practical experience Previous HR administration experience, with working knowledge of Cambridge University HR policy and processes. Proficient in using Cambridge University HR Systems including CHRIS, RAS and Web Recruitment Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, often at fast pace. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Ability to work independently, proactively and take initiative to troubleshoot, whilst working flexibly as part of a team. Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to staying current on policy, process, and system updates.
