The role
We are recruiting for a modern, manufacturer-approved bodyshop in Solihull, seeking an experienced Tyre Technician to repair, refurbish and refinsh alloy wheels to a high standard within a busy repair environment. Benefits: Basic salary £30,000 with OTE £35,000 plus uncapped bonus potential Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:00pm with flexible start and finish times 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00am–1:00pm 33 days holiday including bank holidays Modern workshop and ongoing training Structured career progression and investment in facilities and people Discounted vehicle purchase schemes, high street retailer discounts and discounted gym memberships Cycle to Work scheme and free on-site parking Long service recognition awards and a supportive, inclusive working environment Duties of a Tyre Technician: Repair and refurbish alloy wheels to manufacturer standards Prepare wheels for work, including sanding, filling and refinishing as required Complete cosmetic repairs to damaged alloy wheels Apply paint and lacquer finishes to a consistently high standard Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales Maintain quality and productivity targets while working efficiently in a team Follow all health and safety procedures at all times as a Tyre Technician Requirements of a Tyre Technician: Proven experience as a Tyre Technician, Wheel Refurbishment Technician or similar role within a bodyshop Strong knowledge of alloy wheel repair, refurbishment and refinishing techniques Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work within time limits Excellent organisation and time management skills Full UK driving licence preferred Contact Archie Lawson, Automotive Recruitment Specialist at Perfect Placement covering Solihull and the West Midlands, today to discover more about this fantastic Tyre Technician opportunity.
