About the role
* Obsession with customer needs is essential, as you will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, assessing, designing, and delivering customer-centric commercial propositions and product developments.
* You will collaborate with the wider Commercial Lending Team to develop insight-led products that deliver clear commercial benefits and meet market needs. You will also champion product development initiatives and manage stakeholder engagement to facilitate change.
* Managing an ongoing portfolio of change, you will assess the complexity, costs, and impacts of delivery, establish business benefits, and ensure alignment with group strategy and regulatory guidelines.
About you
* Strong understanding of how financial products create value for both the business and customers.
* Experience building stakeholder networks and understanding industry dynamics and competitors.
* Proven track record of delivering change, with excellent communication skills at all organizational levels and a collaborative working style.
* Leadership experience, including motivating and developing teams; remote leadership experience is a plus.
* Knowledge of lending onboarding operations, especially within commercial mortgages, and experience managing loan application processes.
* Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations effectively.
* Experience in process improvement and a mindset focused on efficiency and customer service excellence.
* Commitment to providing first-class customer service, both directly and through team embedding, including experience serving brokers.
