SEN Teacher (PPA Cover)

We are currently recruiting a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to provide PPA cover in a supportive SEN school in Northolt. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys flexibility while working with pupils with additional needs in a specialist setting.
About the Role
As a PPA SEN Teacher, you will:

Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes across the school
*
Work with pupils with Autism (ASC), SLD/MLD, and additional learning needs
*
Maintain continuity of learning during teachers’ PPA time
*
Support positive behaviour and engagement in learning
*
Work closely with support staff to ensure pupils’ needs are met
*
Follow existing schemes of work and SEN strategies
What We’re Looking For
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally in a specialist or SEN unit
*
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
*
Flexible, adaptable, and organised approach
*
Strong understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practice
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
