Duties of the assistant service manager include:
7. Assisting the Service Manager in day-to-day operations of the service department
8. Ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction standards are met
9. Overseeing service advisor performance and workload management
10. Managing workshop flow and allocation of work
11. Driving sales and upselling services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
Requirements for the assistant service manager role:
12. Proven experience as a Service Manager, Senior Service Advisor or Service Advisor within the automotive industry
13. Strong leadership and communication skills
14. Ability to manage a team and work efficiently under pressure
15. Knowledge of automotive service processes and customer relationship management
16. A proactive approach to delivering outstanding customer service
