Job Description
Commercial & Operational Support
3. Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including technology, consultancy, procurement and confidentiality contracts.
4. Provide practical guidance to teams on contractual obligations, supplier/client negotiations and risk considerations.
5. Offer clear, commercially attuned legal advice across multiple service lines.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
6. Support the development and maintenance of internal policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
7. Advise on data protection, confidentiality, IP and regulatory issues in line with the organisation's operational needs.
8. Help identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across business activity.
9. Act as an approachable adviser to colleagues across Finance, HR, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Operations.
Disputes & Issue Management
10. Assist with handling complaints, claims, regulatory interactions and sensitive internal matters.
11. Coordinate effectively with external counsel when needed
The Successful Applicant
Required:
12. Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent) with 3 - 6 PQE
13. Strong commercial contracts experience, in‑house or private practice.
14. Excellent drafting skills with the ability to translate complex issues into clear advice.
15. Familiarity with data protection or relevant regulatory compliance frameworks.
Desirable:
16. Experience working with or advising professional services or financial services organisations.
