An established global technology organisation is seeking a Procurement Professional on a 12‑month fixed term contract to support their IT procurement function at their modern offices in Weybridge. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of end‑to‑end sourcing activity within a high-performing, international environment.
Role: Procurement Professional
Type: 12‑Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Weybridge, Surrey - Hybrid working available after successful 3 month probation
Salary: £42,000 - £43,000 + benefits
Key responsibilities for the Procurement Professional will include and will not be limited to:
Deliver end‑to‑end procurement across IT goods, services and labour, ensuring alignment with global procurement policies.
Initiate and manage both simple and complex RFx processes.
Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve optimum commercial outcomes.
Drive cost reduction programmes while maintaining quality and performance.
Manage supplier spend, performance, contracts, and overall relationships.
Develop contingency strategies to mitigate supply chain risk.
Lead supplier performance improvement across cost, delivery, quality, and innovation.
Produce weekly updates on procurement project progress.
Support internal/external audit compliance activities.
Handle ad hoc procurement tasks as required by the Head of Group.
Key skills and experience required, and will not be limited to:
Bachelor's degree and/or 4-5 years' experience in procurement, supply chain or IT-related sourcing.
Strong IT procurement exposure with solid understanding of supplier negotiations and RFx management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal/external relationships.
Highly organised, self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
Strong commercial acumen with proven problem‑solving capabilities.
Computer literate with strong Excel skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics (desirable).
CIPS Level 4 (desirable) or willingness to study.
