Science Teacher – Gillingham
This thriving secondary school in Gillingham is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to inspire KS3–KS4 students with the wonders of Biology, Chemistry, or Physics. Contract: Long term position from September until at least December 2025
Salary: £168.80 - £232.57 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and interactive science lessons that spark curiosity and excitement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel confident exploring new ideas.
* Support students in developing analytical thinking and scientific reasoning.
* Work closely with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and create exciting learning experiences.
* Encourage real-world applications of science, making lessons relevant and inspiring.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in your chosen science specialism.
* Experience teaching KS3-KS4 students.
* Ability to motivate and engage students in both theoretical and practical lessons.
* Enthusiasm for extracurricular science activities and school-wide events.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
