We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing new products and variations, managing component obsolescence, and supporting manufacturing. The ideal candidate is technically versatile and proactive.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Translate marketing or customer product requirements into functional specifications and develop products accordingly.
2. Design power supplies, filters, low noise amplifiers, EMC protection, micro-controller & peripheral hardware, and communication bus hardware (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN).
3. Design analog control systems for electro-mechanical applications.
4. Create design models using Python, C/C++, MathCAD, Excel, Spice tools, etc.
5. Design analog/digital circuitry for high-resolution, low-noise signal conditioning and control circuits, including simulation, verification, testing, calibration, prototyping, and qualification.
6. Handle schematic capture, PCB layout, design outputs, DFM analysis, and library & license management using E-CAD tools, following department policies.
7. Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis on products, sub-systems, and processes.
8. Create and update manufacturing documentation.
9. Collaborate with manufacturing technicians to meet project goals.
10. Engage with customers during pre-sale or application support.


Position Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field, with relevant experience or training.
2. At least five years of experience in designing mixed analog/digital electronic systems, with inertial sensing experience preferred.
3. Proficiency in analog circuit design, including active filters, operational amplifiers, power, and thermal sensing.
4. Experience with digital design, microcontrollers, communication channels, EEPROM, and Flash memory.
5. Extensive experience with Altium schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM creation, and library management.
6. Ability to generate FMEA, MBTF, and other documentation.
7. Knowledge of measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and data acquisition tools.
8. Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, Python, Visual Basic, and Java.
