If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy turning data into actionable insights, this could be the perfect next step in your career. £45,000 - £50,000 Office based Monday to Friday, 40 hours Free parking x4 Death in service Pension 5% employer 4% employee EAP service Duties and Responsibilities: Managing and delivering the Product Costing process to ensure accurate and timely cost data across operations and sales Analyse Bills of Material and investigate master data, purchasing inputs, and operational consumption to validate cost accuracy. Continuously improve the Product Costing Model to reflect real operational costs and align with group guidelines. Provide clear documentation and guidance for the use and maintenance of the costing model. Deliver variance analysis comparing actual costs to expected figures, and advise on corrective actions. Support sales teams with product and customer profitability insights, highlighting margin erosion and cost impacts. Collaborate with senior management to forecast and budget product costs and margins in line with business plans. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a financial or cost analysis role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Strong analytical mindset with a logical approach and high attention to detail. Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in SAP CO (Controlling) and familiarity with production environments including BOMs, routings, and variance analysis. Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting. Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently. Full UK driving licence required.
