Abbots Care is an award-winning domiciliary care company based in Hertfordshire with a CQC rating of outstanding. Our community-based support care workers provide care to our service users within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible.
We are currently recruiting for community care assistants to join our teams providing care in people's own homes in Berkhamsted, Tring, and Aylesbury.
The role of a care assistant is rewarding and offers opportunities for career development, including paid diplomas and progression.
No previous experience in care is necessary as comprehensive training is provided by our in-house training department.
You will need a full driving license with access to your own car to process your application.
Our working hours are between 7am-10pm, including alternate weekends, with flexible options available such as shifts from 6pm-10pm or starting from 8am, including school hours.
The role includes:
* Providing support and care within clients' homes
* Supporting with personal care
* Preparing meals and domestic tasks

We offer:
* Guaranteed hours; part-time and full-time contracts at £12.21/hour
* 0-hour contracts with rates of £13.00/hour weekdays / £13.50/hour weekends, paid for time with clients
