Takes overall responsibility and is accountable for all delegated professional, practice development, and education activities within the LD & neurodiversity and vulnerable people team. Will be highly visible and provide professional leadership. Will lead and offer expert professional and practice development advice to support the delivery of high-quality, effective, compassionate care and reasonable adjustments. This will be in line with local, Trust-wide, and national policies, procedures, values, and behaviours.

Design and deliver professional, practice development, and education activities based on policies, guidelines, and evidence to improve outcomes and experiences for patients with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.

Act as an expert professional, practice developer, and educator to the care teams regarding patient care and achieving positive patient outcomes and experiences.
