Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Design Engineer located in Ipswich. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of refrigeration products, including creating detailed mechanical and electrical designs, utilizing CAD software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring concepts to life. The role involves conducting engineering analysis, prototyping, and ensuring products meet our high performance, quality, and safety standards.
Qualifications
* University degree and training in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor\'s or Master\'s level)
* Minimum 3 years of professional experience in design in the refrigeration sector.
* 3D CAD design experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred.
* Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP.
* Experience with different compressor technologies.
* Experience with CO2 and A2L systems.
* Deep understanding of UK and international standards and regulations.
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop.
* Advanced organisational skills, time management, and result-oriented.
* High level of professional integrity.
* Ability to build strong professional relationships and inspire confidence and trust.
* Excellent teamwork.
