An exciting opportunity has arisen to join NHS Lothian’s Public Health Department as an Assistant Programme Manager to work with our Healthcare Public Health team. The post holder will lead and support the planning, management and implementation of key Healthcare Public Health programme objectives. The successful candidate will work alongside Public Health Consultants, GP Leads and other key stakeholders across NHS Lothian, including Clinical Leads.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support the planning, management and implementation of Healthcare Public Health programme objectives.
* Collaborate with Public Health Consultants, GP Leads and other stakeholders to deliver programme outcomes.
* Coordinate with Clinical Leads across NHS Lothian to ensure integrated service delivery.
* Manage project timelines, deliverables and resources to achieve programme goals.
* Maintain strong partnership working and negotiation skills to facilitate cross‑sector collaboration.
Qualifications
* Degree level education in a public health related subject.
* Understanding of health inequalities and health prevention strategies.
* Experience in project planning, management and implementation.
* Well‑developed partnership working and negotiation skills.
