We have an opportunity available for a full time Support Worker to join the team at our respite service Swallow Lodge based in Lincolnshire, LN6 8UZ.
Swallow Lodge is an essential service that enables families to take a break from caring for their loved ones, providing both planned and emergency respite to adults with mental health and learning disabilities. The service has a fantastic core team that puts the people we support at the heart of everything we do, and our aim is to create a safe, vibrant and friendly environment. Salary: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 35 weekly

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will embody our core values of Kind Hearts, Tailor Making, Dreaming Big, Having Courage and Being Ready. Your role will involve providing exceptional care and unwavering support to service users, particularly those with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviour that challenges.
* Provide personal care, administer medication and assist with domestic tasks.
* Create an environment of warmth and care so that service users feel seen and valued.
* Tailor your approach to each individual’s unique needs to ensure the highest level of care.
* Approach challenges with courage and a commitment to the people you support.
Qualifications
It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training, as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
