Responsibilities
within your role will include (but not limited to)
1. Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements
2. Undertaking Finite Element Analysis Simulations using Abaqus CAE of marine structural seats / brackets / bolts
3. Work with the customer to determine solutions for failed simulations
4. Writing Analysis reports
5. Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints and potentially changing requirements
6. Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams
Qualifications
7. HNC/HND in mechacnical engineering
8. Degree in mechanical engineering
Essential skills
9. FEA Modelling
10. Abaqus CAE
11. MathCAD (beneficial but not essential)
12. Microsoft Office Skills
Experience
13. Minimum of 5 years experience in stress analysis
14. Marine engineering desirable
