Individual Placement & Support is an internationally‑recognised model for supporting people with Serious Mental Illness back into employment, as part of their recovery and wellbeing. Our IPS team is expanding and working towards achieving high IPS fidelity. We offer a full induction programme and training opportunities to build your skills.
Responsibilities
* Work with a caseload of up to 25 clients to determine what work they want to do and build confidence to start looking for work.
* Ensure clients have an up‑to‑date CV and provide guidance, support, and coaching to enable them to find the right job.
* Advise clients on benefits and contact potential employers.
* Create a return‑to‑work plan and provide ongoing support once clients are in work, addressing any issues or challenges.
* Ensure the right package of support for clients, keeping detailed and accurate records.
* Build relationships with employers and other partners to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Qualifications
* Assertive, adaptable with a positive attitude about employment for all.
* Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to learn new skills and a positive, supportive attitude.
* Passion for working with people, especially those with mental health difficulties.
* Confidence using IT and maintaining detailed and accurate client records.
