Are you ready to take your surgical career to the next level? We are seeking an experienced Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) to join our dynamic team and lead in a specialist area of care.
Responsibilities
* Act as first or second assistant for surgical procedures in theatre, under supervision of Consultant Surgeon.
* Carry out specific procedures during operations.
* Participate in operative procedures while assisting in all aspects of pre‑ and post‑operative care of robot‑assisted surgical (RAS) patients.
* Support registrar training in robotic surgery across colorectal, general surgery and urology specialties; performing bedside assistant role.
* Be involved in strategic review and improvement of clinical services through active participation with the multi‑professional team.
* Implement a clearly defined integrated approach to patient care encompassing new treatments and evidence‑based care.
* Work closely with patients and families to ensure shared clinical decision‑making.
