Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join this team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients' financial records are accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients.
* Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns.
* Assist with payroll processing.
* Generate financial reports and statements.
* Collaborate with accountants to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* AAT qualification or equivalent is preferred.
