£40,804 - £46,991 annual salary
Position Overview
Community and Enterprise Resources Support Services require an Administration Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will manage the provision of administrative support to Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services deploying resources to meet service delivery and performance standards.
A key part of this post will be to manage and direct the operation of the Roads Stores CPA system including co-ordinating year-end financial processes, monitoring Resource Iprocurement activity including Iprocurement holds, and undertaking various financial reconciliations.
You will also assist with the administration and monitor the use of materials/systems including documenting business processes, developing procedures highlighting and eliminating waste, and deploying resources to meet key priorities and ensure effective service provision.
You will be responsible for identifying business change opportunities in order to enhance the delivery of operational services and promote business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and direct the operation of the Roads Stores CPA system, including year-end financial processes.
* Monitor Resource Iprocurement activity and manage Iprocurement holds.
* Perform financial reconciliations as required.
* Administer and monitor use of materials and systems.
* Document and develop business processes, procedures and waste elimination plans.
* Identify and implement business change opportunities to improve operational services.
* Provide administrative support to Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Practical experience with Oracle Financials and the Iprocurement system.
* Knowledge of Council policy and procedures relating to staffing, attendance maximisation, procedure writing, communication, and facilitation of meetings and training sessions.
* Strong organisational and problem solving skills.
* High level of decision-making ability.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in administering administrative support within a transport or fleet services environment is an advantage.
