This role goes far beyond traditional IT support. You’ll bring deep Mac expertise, hands‑on experience with sport specific performance technology, the confidence to operate at a level where expectations are high and reliability is essential. From day‑to‑day operational support to specialist technical problem solving, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our Technology Services are consistently second to none.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead a small but highly focused team delivering 1st and 2nd line technical support to everyone at the Training Ground, while also stepping into 3rd line responsibilities when needed.
* Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to our Service Desk Analyst and Technical Support Engineers, setting the standard for excellence across the team.
* Work closely with senior stakeholders and VIP staff, including Sporting Directors, Performance Analysts, Coaches, Sports Scientists, and medical teams, to ensure every system they rely on is fully operational, reliable, and capable of supporting the demands of an elite football environment.
* Serve as a senior escalation point for all technical issues, from end‑user environments to networking and cloud services.
* Maintain liaison with key stakeholders, gather feedback and use it to ensure a best‑in‑class technology service is consistently being delivered.
* Work a ‘5 in 7’ schedule: any 5 days out of 7, including matchday and training session support requiring flexibility in working hours.
* Support all desktop, laptop and mobile devices across Mac and Windows environments.
* Maintain and troubleshoot Football Performance systems including GPS, video capture, analysis software, and data syncing tools.
* Provide support across football spaces including training pitches, coaching rooms, meeting spaces, and analysis suites.
* Coordinate and support matchday and training session tech requirements on‑site at the Training Ground.
* Manage incident and request tickets to resolution, maintaining high service standards.
* Oversee team’s performance metrics and KPI’s; assist the Technology Services Manager with regular reporting, Problem & Trend analysis, and Continual Service Improvement.
* Manage the on‑site rota, ensuring adequate cover is provided according to the football schedule.
* Work some matchdays at Stamford Bridge on a rotating basis as required.
* Assist in asset tracking, hardware deployment, and lifecycle management.
