Overview

Are you interested in a career in Pharmacy? Are you innovative and forward thinking? This may be the position you're looking for. We are looking for someone to become a member of our Senior Pharmacy Assistant Team, where you will provide support in delivering a high quality service to all Pharmacy customers. Working in the pharmacy at Queens Hospital, Burton.


Responsibilities

* Dispensing inpatient and outpatient prescriptions and discharge medication.
* Meeting and greeting people at the reception hatch and accepting outpatient prescriptions and taking prescription charges.
* Completing ward top ups and expiry dating.


What you will need

* You will be required to complete a GPhC-approved Level 2 Pharmacy course.
* You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including other healthcare professionals and members of the public.
* You will be a good team player, enthusiastic and proactive with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
