Leeds (Hybrid / Local Patch Based)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a large, established Yorkshire housing association with a patch of properties in Leeds for an experienced Housing Officer to support their tenancy management team during a period of increased demand.
This is a temporary contract for an initial 2 months, with a strong possibility of extension.
The Role
You will manage a defined patch of general needs properties, delivering a high-quality housing management service to residents and ensuring communities are safe, compliant and well-managed.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of social housing tenancies
*
Conducting estate inspections and tenancy visits
*
Handling anti-social behaviour cases and neighbour disputes
*
Supporting tenants with rent issues and early arrears intervention
*
Lettings, sign-ups and tenancy terminations
*
Working closely with income, repairs and support teams
*
Ensuring properties and estates meet compliance and safety standards
About You
We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced social housing environment.
You will ideally have:

Experience working as a Housing Officer or similar role in social housing
*
Strong knowledge of tenancy management, ASB and housing legislation
*
Confidence managing your own patch and prioritising workloads
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills
*
Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
*
A full UK driving licence (preferred due to estate visits)
